UPRISING: A RISE AU COMIC
Hiya! My name's Alex, and welcome to the info Carrd for my Rise of the TMNT Comic and Fanfiction, UPRISING! This series is based in my Rise Dystopia AU that I have been lovingly making.There's a bunch of important information and Content Warnings in the About, so please read carefully! ABOUT
The ROTTMNT Comic and Fanfiction, UPRISING, takes place in a Dystopian version of the Rise universe where a global war took place 50 years ago that revealed the hidden city. This revealed the Yokai and during the war started conflict between Yokai and Human alike. Due to this, after the war was done, the Humans, fearful of the Yokai and their inherent power, segregated them in more run-down areas of New York, creating the Yokai Side (Brooklyn, Queens, and the Rest of Long Island) and Human Side (Staten Island, Manhattan, and The Bronx) that is seen in the Comic.
There are five main Organizations: Project Betahound, The Foot Clan, The Resistance, Big Mama's Syndicate, and The Rebellion. Each organization has their own power and influence, however only few names are well known (Big Mama for example), and only certain sides know these infamous names and who they belong to.

About The Boys
Raphael Hamato
Raph is still the oldest of the brothers with the same overprotectiveness and responsibility as the source material, however due to the increased stakes in the Dystopian New York City, Raph has unintentionally distanced himself from his brothers by helping Splinter in Big Mama Missions to support their family. This doesn't mean he's totally absent, however, as Raph still hangs with his brothers in his free time and even takes care of his Chickens with Mikey.
Donatello Hamato
Donnie is the second oldest in the Dystopia AU and still the absolute Tech Wiz of the team. Due to their limited access to materials on the Yokai side of New York City, Donnie's Tech is crude looking, however just as advanced as they are in the source content. Due to the nature of the AU, Donnie unlocks his Mystic Abilities much sooner alongside his brothers, however still has a horrible time understanding it. Due to Raph being distant from him and their other brothers, Donnie is considered the responsible one in the "Dumbass" Trio as they are lovingly called by Hueso.
Leonardo Hamato
Leo is the self-proclaimed leader of the "Dumbass" Trio as well as self-proclaimed Twin of Donnie (so much so that he begged Donnie to have matching shirts). Leo is canonically trans in this AU and is fully supported by Splinter and his brothers. He works hard to prove to their dad that he and his brothers are ready for Big Mama missions after being denied the year after Raph started going on them. His reckless but brilliant ideas often find the trio in trouble, however consistently finds a way to bring them all out alright and oftentimes his quick thinking and instinct saves the day.
Michelangelo Hamato
Mikey in this AU is much more reckless and has the space to do so without any real responsible figures present in his life. While Donnie may suggest safeguards, both he and Leo often encourage his reckless behavior. He spends most of his time tagging their home as well as sticker bombing unsuspecting human neighborhoods, taking artistic liberty with what he tags. He's still passionately the cook of the family and makes most of the meals. He maintains a garden with Donnie, housing the plants in his room since Donnie's has little space due to the hoard of supplies for his tech.

Hiya! I'm Alex and I'm the host of the OSDD-1b system, the Bird's Nest! We got into rise around the time the movie came out and the people we've met and the inspiration I've gained from it have been near and dear to my heart as well as many in our system.That being said, the TikTok and Twitter that post about the Dystopia AU and the UPRISING Comic are run by me, the host, however you'll probably see some of my headmates sticking their tags in there!
